ReferSurrey is an online directory and referral system, which enables referrals to be made securely between a network of public and voluntary sector agencies across Surrey. As a system, it facilitates joined up working between agencies, by simplifying the referrals process, improving the visibility of services, and managing data sharing. It ensures that clients are contacted proactively by the agency they are referred to, helping them to get the holistic support they need. It also provides a way of tracking and recording outcomes across the whole referral system.
“To suddenly find yourself in real fear that you are not going to be able to feed your family, is terrifying. If you don’t know who to ask, you don’t know what’s out there, you don’t know what help is available, you’re just waving around in the dark hoping that someone will see you.” Ben, Community Commissioner, East Surrey Poverty Truth Commission
