Description
Surrey Community Action runs a range of practical, people‑focused projects that support communities right across the county, and we welcome referrals to all of them.
Warmth Matters
Our team visits Warm Welcome hubs across Surrey, offering advice, crisis funding, fuel vouchers and essential equipment to people experiencing fuel poverty. They provide a friendly face and real support to families and older residents who are struggling to keep warm at home.
Rural Housing Enablement
We work to secure affordable homes in Surrey’s villages so local people can stay close to their families, support networks and the communities they grew up in.
Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Support
Our Advice and Guidance service supports the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller community across Surrey, helping people access services, understand their rights and find the help they need.
Community Buildings Support
We help community halls and buildings operate safely and effectively, offering advice, signposting, training and networking opportunities. Halls can also join our low‑cost membership scheme for ongoing support.
Good Neighbour Schemes
We coordinate 77 Good Neighbour schemes across Surrey, connecting volunteer drivers with older and disabled residents who need help getting to medical appointments, visiting loved ones or simply getting out for everyday errands.
You can find more information about all our projects on our website. If you or someone you know needs support, we’d be very happy to help.
