Description

The Meeting Room supports some of the most vulnerable people in the Mole Valley and Epsom & Ewell areas of Surrey. We help and assist those with a variety of issues including poverty, addiction, poor mental & physical health, and homelessness. We focus on meeting their immediate needs and then supporting and working closely with them to transition into a more stable and sustainable lifestyle. Many of our clients have no family or friends to assist them in times of crisis or difficulty. Typically, we work with people in our community who are struggling financially, deal with housing related issues, or who are unable to access addiction recovery services or medical support. By working with and supporting our clients, we seek to prevent recurring situations related to severe debt problems, homelessness, addiction relapses or health issues. Our purpose is simple: to ensure no one in our community is left without support and to help people move from crisis to stability and hope.

Citizens Advice Reigate & Banstead (CARBS) is an independent local charity. Our local volunteers provide the backbone of our advice services supported by a small paid team. We operate from two offices, in Redhill and Banstead, and outreach centres across Reigate and Banstead. Home visit appointments available when need is demonstrated and resources permit.
